Dear Steve

I just wanted to write and express my thanks for all the time and effort you have spent with me over the past months.

As I have openly told you, I was initially very sceptical about business and executive coaching in general. However, your personal approach, sound advice and guidance have meant I have had to think again.

By not allowing me to avoid difficult issues, you have helped me finalise my plans to go on maternity leave at the end of this month. I leave the reins in the hands of my colleague now with far greater confidence than I would have without your assistance.

You have also helped me to address areas of concern in a calm and structured manner and think logically about what needs to happen during my absence. But just as importantly, I now have a better picture of how I want my business to look on my return. All in all a massive step forward from where I was a few months ago.

I am now looking forward to a calm and relaxing period of maternity leave!
