From sole practitioner to a thriving small practice, Richard’s input has been imperative to our development.

As professionals, we often assume that we are also business people. The two don’t necessarily equate and indeed, there may be conflict between one’s professional outputs and business acumen. This is where external support is essential. As a architectural firm that has grown from a sole practitioner to a thriving small practice, Richard’s input has been imperative in developing our strategy and leadership. We have become business-focused and learned skills relating to finance, planning, HR and Research and Development, all of which have positively impacted on the team. Richard has also been pivotal in recruitment and is now largely taking the role of a non-executive director. He has helped to build and focus the team as a whole, but most importantly helped me grow into a business-driven role. I am now a businessman who owns an architectural practice, rather than an Architect who is trying to be a businessman. I would wholeheartedly recommend Richard Dickinson to be your guide for this journey!
